Any problem with external D5 pump?

Rethinking water loop & build ideas. Curious if there are any problems with mounting a D5 outside of the case (e.g. on the rear 120/140mm fan spot) and then piping water back into the case through tubing cut outs / pass through.

I was thinking something like the Koolance PMP-450/S w/ a res top.

(looks like this, but I would likely use a smaller res)
CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), quality = 90

Thoughts? I know that I will also have to deal with a power cable as well. Thanks!

Not at all as long as its not going to be moved around or fall. The molex cable is pretty long so you can easily do this.

Not really, just sits on my desk. Certainly would make refilling res easier than sliding the bay out (what I currently do). Also think it would look neat. So no problems with pushing the fluid that way or priming the pump in that location (can't imagine why there would be, but better to ask than make a $176 mistake).
