i mean i could understand it if they were talking about CPU's that were aimed at the average consumer but not the unlocked models, or are the gains so small they have to put this in to try and justify the price?
eDRAM. It's there to feed the GPU, but the CPU cores can use it too. It should give a big boost to memory-intensive workloads.
It may be expensive, but people pay big bucks for the absolute best per-thread performance.
