NoiseBlocker for Push Pull Radiator

Hello,
I was wondering if you guys could help me out with selecting what fans to use for my Push Pull Radiator.
The Radiator in question is a UT60.

I was mainly Looking at NoiseBlocker as they were recommended and I would like it to be semi-quiet. but their are quite allot of them.

Black Silent PL-PS http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FG-032-NB&groupid=701&catid=2331&subcat=4
or the
Noiseblocker NB-eLoop Fan B12-P: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FG-057-NB&groupid=701&catid=2331&subcat=4

What do you guys think or would yous recommend a different fan entirely?

I cannot buy a Gentle Typhoon or a Cougar and I do not want a Noctua due to the color. So I am generally looking at other alternatives.

If yous could help me, that would be great.
Thanks.

Oh and my case is a Mercury S8.

Have you thought about just spray-painting the fan case for the noctua and dying the fan blades? Might be a suitable way about getting exactly what you want thumb.gif

very true I could. but I would rather not go messing around with spray painting stuff atm rolleyes.gif haha
Would you have any recommendations for decent quiet fans to place in a push pull configuration? smile.gif

The NB eLoops are really good push fans but they can have issues when used in pull. Their BlackSilent Pro fans are alright but never really stood out as great rad fans.

FWIW, Phanteks makes pretty good fans for rads / coolers that might agree with your color-scheme. 140mm fans are kind of their bread-n-butter but they did recently release a 120mm version.

Are these the fans you mean? http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FG-004-PT&groupid=701&catid=2331&subcat=4
They do look good yeah. but their static pressure is only 1, is that enough for a 60MM radiator? in a push pull config.

Wow, thanks man.
I see they are PWM fans though. Would I still be able to control; them with aquaero 5 LT USB controller? not sure.

Like Unicr0nhunter already pointed out, the NB eloops are not made for pull or push/pull. Their aerodynamics produce a noise if mounted as pull and it gets worse with push/pull, on fullspeed that is!

I have them mounted in a push/pull on my UT60,though.

But I´m running my fans between 600 and 900RPM on that speed you can´t hear the additional noise or the fans at all.

I recommend you to test it up front. They are great fans.

I did some testing up front and found using a shroud like suggested by some people makes the noise even worse.
