Astro A40/A50 vs. Sennheiser G4ME One, which one would you recommend? - Page 5

The 280, 380, and basically all other half decent headphones are strictly stereo. Sound positioning with headphones is achieved through software (CMSS-3D, Razer Surround, game audio engines, etc) by exploiting the way the brain interprets sounds. It's all about timings, volume levels, and balance or lack thereof between each cup.

I'd pick up a pair of senns or other quality cans, if for nothing else, just to get out of the whole "gaming audio" department. They'll certainly be an improvement over the sibereas, and the astros/trittons/other-overpriced-overmarketed-pieces-of-vending-machine-plastic-with-half-inch-drivers-in-them are just awful.

well it looks like ill just get myself a pair of senns today.. since most of you guys agree that it sounds amazing.
i just thought of the gaming brands because it's simple enough. but i realize im not using my soundcard to good use at all.

since senns g4me is kinda overpriced, ill go with maybe the 280pro or 380 pro or the other models, depending on my liking..

thanks a lot mate, appreciate this alot smile.gifthumb.gif
