I dont think its a coincidence that dx12 maybe copy the same features as mantle

No, and since DX12 has been in the talks for years before that (the same main features that they talked about here) it also means that Mantle wasn't about pushing the industry in the right direction. It was a rushed out effort to capitalize on the idea. And AMD knew that it would never see any adoption from other manufacturers because they knew what was coming with DX12.

Well, most likely any titles that aren't already in development won't be released in the 1.5 year timeframe before DX12 launches. And supposedly devs will get their hands on DX12 libraries later this year.

In talks was the subject:reduce overhead. And they trieed with DC and command lists. They didint achieved that. Because you talk about reducing overhead doesnt mean that dx12 exist as an idea 4 years now.They tried patching dx8 a lot of times until dx11.2 and then just start a new API.Do you understand that this API will come in 2 years?
