All Mantle drivers I have tried introduce Micro Suttering in a lot of Games

Seriously? I have wiped all traces of my old drivers with DDU numerous times and have done nothing but clean installs and every mantle driver I have tried so far has introduced some stupid type of micro stutter in most of the games I play such as Bioshock series, Skyrim and a few others.

In Skyrim its mostly noticeable indoors when you stand still and pan the camera around it stutters like crazy, Bioshock games are affected too yet no one seems to mention this bug breaking feature that these drivers have introduced. rolleyes.gif

Im on a clean install of win 8.1 and everything is up to date and running top notch. If I go back to the 13.12 Drivers I have no problems at all. Also I have tried Radeon Pro forcing 60fps as it is a tricked that dealt with microstutter in the past but its still a no go, same thing with Direct X tweaker which is part of MSI afterburner.

Sorry we wont be able to help much without knowing what your machine is made of.

Is your computer powered by specific off the shelf parts? Maybe its a colmination of cheese, and ham.... and mayonnaise....mmmm.

Mayonnaise would definately cause me to stutter. rolleyes.gif

Sorry left that out, its driver related because the 13.12 driver exhibits none of this behavior with these other games.

Makes no difference, already tried that and I thought the soundblaster z issue was with crossfire setups anyway?

Yes and Im not talking about mantle enabled games, BF4 or Thief. Im talking about games like Bioshock series and Skyrim which you would think would not be affected but for some reason they are. Vsync has never been an issue with past drivers and 13.12 is the last driver for me that doesnt create these problems. Even if I try forcing triple buffering with direct x tweaker or through radeon pro the problem still occurs.

I play BF4 but oddly enough it doesnt give me any issues in either DX11 or with Mantle enabled. The thing is that I wont be able to stay with the 13.12's forever for obvious reasons such as new game releases etc so naturally im wondering if this is an issue that ATI is aware of or if no one cares which seems to be the case. I have found 1 or 2 other people experiencing the same problems with the same games.
