That was this engine haha...I think most of them can do it though to some degree. Maybe not physics based as I believe it was in CryEngine but whatever. In fact I think UE4, Snowdrop, and whatever engine Watch Dogs is using can do it or have shown it off.

Oh I see. Well I only remember the evap puddle part from memory (and the sheer terror I felt when I thought of the sys specs I'd be needing for some of the things demo'd).

good times are ahead for those with the dosh to throw around on the top-tier stuff smile.gif

Gears of war is the example i always come back to for a UE game that isn't so "plasticky"

its just the default shaders, get a shader artist and it can look much better thumb.gif

im really interested to see all the html5 games that will come out from ue4

Unreal Engine is extremely versatile, matured, and user-friendly whilst being extremely scalable. CryEngine is non of the above. They have a ways to go, competition does drive for a better market so I really look forward to the things to come. thumb.gif

Please stop spreading misinformation. CryEngine has been on iOS and Android (Amazon exclusive) since 2012. The game's called Fibble.

LOL Amazon exclusive?

That's nice. Point is none of us have access to it.

Maybe you should start informing better.

You in denial? Crytek's licensing agreement with Amazon doesn't make my point any less valid. You said CryEngine doesn't do iOS or Android and I pointed out a two year old game that's on both platforms. Not having access to the mobile development aspects in the SDK is a separate point, in which you are correct.
