That Fanless Seasonic PSU...

Hello there, I was wondering if the said 43 amp 12 volt output of the Seasonic P520FL will be enough to run an Asus GTX 780 DC II graphics card. I do not know anything about volts etc. so I'd like to know how many amps do I need at least for this card on the 12 volt rail redface.gif

As long as you keep this card's voltages at stock, you will have more than enough power:

http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/geforce_gtx_780_review,9.html

With one GTX 780 under full load in their system, their PSU pulled 340W from the wall outlet. Their CPU was idling, so I will add 150W for the 4770K overclocked fairly heavily. Adding 150W to 340W brings it to 490W being pulled from the wall outlet. This means that if the PSU is 90% efficient while pulling 490W from the wall, then the computer is pulling 441W from the PSU. Your gaming power consumption will be lower, peaking at about 400-425W at the most.

So, you have lots of power.

It's a computer!

It has a 4770K clocked at 4.2 with 1.2 volts and the graphics card will be absolutely stock everything. I have stuck my 1000w OCZ ZX with sleeved cables in a mini itx case and its pretty messy and cramped so I'd like to move on to a smaller psu with a better quality.

I'm also running 16 gigs of trident x's at 2133 mhz with 1.6 volts, 2 ssd's in raid 0 and a hdd, a 120 mm cooler master liquid cooler with a single fan and basically nothing more. If all the listed things are a go, I'm buying this psu asap biggrin.gif

Should be fine. I used on recently on a Haswell overclocked to 4.3 with 1.29V with a GTX Titan. There were about 5 120 mm fans, a Noctuah air cooler, and 16 GB ram, with 2 strips of LED lights. It worked out great and continues to do so.
