Is it possible to flip a PCI card downside up?

Is there a way to reverse it? I'm not sure what the technical term for such a device would be. Maybe it's a dumb thought but I'd love for my Recon3d to be seen better. It bugs me that the card itself looks great but it's facing down and really close to my GPU so you can't even see the nice blue and black.

You could buy a PCI-E riser and put it where you want, maybe?

I know you can by an adapter than has a cable like an extension for the PCI slot like this item http://www.moddiy.com/products/PCI%252dExpress-PCI%252dE-x4-Extension-Cable-Riser-(19cm).html

unless you buy a PCIE riser, you can simply not flip it upside down and insert it into the slot

Great idea guys, I had the word riser somewhere in my mind but had a complete brainfart. I think I'll use the extension cable riser and cut the expansion slot metal and reverse the sides, so it'll still fit in the back correctly, if that makes sense. Do you guys know a cable that is pure black?

It's just such a nice card. Going to try to remove that blue piece and color it orange for my build.

That would make it look pretty fugly....

Solder probably won't work.... you'll probably have to weld the joints.
Once again...

Even if you did do that, you would have the ribbon cable running all the way from the slot to the end of the card, and then that end would be sticking out where it is easy to see. You can paint ribbon cables pretty easily I think.

You might as well just drill out your own blank slot cover. If it doesn't go well you will still have the in-tact one to fall back on.

How about something like this?

Hah, derp....good point....that sounds a lot cleaner than me cutting and trying to solder them back. I can just mark out the exact same holes and cnc cut them.
