Hoorah store credit, Now for blasphemy: USB headphones

So i've six hundred bucks in store credit @ pccasegear.com because i warrentied a 7970 (Now also have a full cover block for sale) I am looking at getting a new headset, Worst of all i'm looking at getting a USB one since i tend to use it between machine A B and C alot, So moving an AMP around to use my Senns just doesn't cut it, Not to mention they really do need to be replaced.

Are USB headsets ~that~ bad, When i got my xonar xense + Senns it was amazeballs, Orgasmic, Instant orgasmic, Then my Sound card died and i replaced it with an AV receiver, Back to amazeballs, Now it's time to get rid of both, Or atleast retire them from my PC.

What is your budget!1!1!!1!11! 600 bucks flat

Where can i shop: PCcasegear.com only, Due to it being store credit

What do i listen to..

Symphonic metal/rock, Classical, Opera, Standard rock Little techno/dubstep here and there

Prefered volume level... Loud

Do i play games and movieS? YES

do i care about positional audio? Lolno

Am i brand bias? Lolno

Do i really want to spend 600 not really because i'd like to get other things too but this is the most important.

Do i need an onboard mic? Nope

Why usb: Because my laptop has USB access and no AMp connectivity, My tablet has no amp connectivity (But it is X86 with usb) My desktop won't have an AMP anymore meaning it'd be onboard vs USB

Suggestions?

Why don't you just get a portable USB DAC/amp combo that's easy to transfer?

Doesn't solve the issue of me having to transport an amp, From A to B to C continously, And the fact that my Senn's are dying hence looking at something entirely new.

Eh, the only thing that catches my eye on that website is the Audio-Technica ATH-ADG1, but I dunno if I'd pay 279 for it. It depends on how good the mic is.
