H440 Hub runs fans at full speed all the time

Thread Starter
Alright then my h440 build is done computer is amazing runs at 26c idle , 38c regular use so guess is good right ?anyway i wanna ask if any body know a way to make the fans more quiet on this case , maybe see some other h440 configurations since i don't have a fan controller. They are all connected on the hub and they run at full speed all the time. Thank You !

You will need to get resistors to get them to run slower. That would probably be the easiest solution.

Or instead of running them at 100% (12 volts), you could run them at 7v or 5v.

For 12v (normal) you are plugging the yellow (12v) and black (ground) wires INTO the fan hub. This feeds 12v to all the fans.

For 7v, plug the yellow (12v) and red (5v) wires into the fan hub. 12-5=7, so this will feed 7v to all the fans, and they will run at ~60%.

For 5v, plus the red (5v) and black (ground) wires into the fan hub. This feeds 5v to all the fans, and if they start, they will run at ~40%.
