Need help with spare computer build

I'm building a spare desktop nothing fancy since my main desktop is great I have my mobo picked out already (MSI A88X-G43 FM2+ / FM2 AMD A88X (Bolton D4)) the only thing is I an stock with what CPU I should get I was looking at these three:

AMD A10-6800K Richland 4.1GHz Socket FM2

AMD A10-7850K Kaveri 3.7GHzI Socket FM2+

AMD A10-7700K Kaveri 3.5GHz Socket FM2+

I don't know much about AMD's new APU's I don't plan on using the onboard GPU cause I plan to buy a good video card for it
Any help or suggestions will be great thanks
I do convert 1080 HD videos from time to time so I need one that will handle that and not slow it down. Also I picked AMD cause I don't want to spend a ton of money for a computer that will be my spare.

Its going to depend on which video card youre planning on using for it, ie an AMD card that can be cross-fired with the IGP or not. If youre going to use a Nvidia card or an non cross-fireable AMD card, then you can go even cheaper on the processor with the same results.

If you aren't going to utilize the IGPU why not get an FM2 or still the FM2+ board but get an Athlon X4 760K? It is the A10-6800K with the IGPU disabled. It is cheap and fast. Unless you are planning on doing the dual graphics set up with a discrete card it is a good option.

I want something with turbo in it I think I'll go with the AMD A10-6800K I only plan to use the GPU I'm buying not the one built into the APU I can get it for $155 + tax and shipping the newer one is $200 + tax and shipping I rather save the extra to help pay for the GPU I can only afford to but one part a month once I get the 3 parts that cost the most it won't take long to get the build done.biggrin.gif

That board has a 4+2 phase VRM design. If youre planning to overclock, a 6+2 or 8+2 design would be better.

With AMD Cool'n'Quiet and C6 enabled, turbo is really kind of redundant. With AMD Cool'n'Quiet and C6 enabled, you can go from web surfing and other light tasks at 1.5 ghz or so and very low voltage and power used, to your max overclock speeds when needed, making it like a Super Turbo.
