Sad thing is that Crysis 3 is just a tech demo for Cryengine due to EA dropping all sorts of restrictions on what they were allowed to do with the Crysis title. Luckily EA only owns the rights to Crysis, not Crytek or Cryengine, and that is why Cryengine is the go to engine for high fidelity indi Titles like "Star Citizen" & Kingdomcome: Deliverance"

Which is why 90% of Crysis storyline sucked very badly.

Isn't that the reason to play it?

Soon as some starts to talk about story, they've missed the whole point of the game.
Crysis pushes other games to look better, to showcase what's possible on PC.

I game on PC for the visuals, controls (kb/m) and mods.
If I was all about story and gameplay, I would buy a PS4 and quit PC gaming.

i've beaten every Crysis game and I don't beat many games. The graphics are awesome and the story is good enough to keep me going. I'm always in awe as to what the devs were able to create. Games have come a long way.

As for the 780 6GB models coming out, I can't wait! Makes me VERY happy I didn't stick with my Titans which I sold for no loss at all. I went with a single 780 Classy and now I'm going with a 780/780 TI 6GB classy via step-up. I might throw in another one into my rig just for the hell of it. thumb.gif

I just got a 780ti couple of days ago so this is great news. I'm only running 1080p but I have the extra money to spend so having this as a future proof would be pretty sweet.

Having not gone through 20+ pages, has Jacob mentioned what the price will be for the 780ti 6gb version? I know he said the standard 780 6gb would be about $550.

On that note, I'll need to remind myself to register my card within the next 2 weeks.

You should registere asap. They give you 14 days from the day you purchased the card to register otherwise you won't be eligible for step-up.

No price on the 780 TI 6GB.

No price on the 780 TI 6GB.
I also have a spare 780 EVGA on me as well that's sealed. Got it along with my 780ti (Don't ask). Both are sealed, I was planning on throwing the 780ti into my new rig that I'm building this week and selling off the 780. Then just step up the 780ti when this 6GB comes out.

Now sure what to do though since a estimate in price for the TI 6GB hasn't been mentioned. What's the guess on the price for it? Cheaper than Titan for sure but are we looking at around $800 maybe?

I'm thinking around $800 for sure. It's smarter to go with 2x 780 6GB's since the performance difference isn't big enough to justify the money. Then again, I'm a sucker for marketing and a few extra fps. thumb.gif

I don't have the quote on me, but I believe that Jacob stated that the reference 780 6gb was going to have an MSRP of $549.
So, if all things equal, the reference Ti 6gb should come in at MSRP $749.
