Yeah, I'm going to go write Windows onto a USB from my other computer and boot it from that. Thanks for the help and the overclocking community (: I wouldn't have gone this far without you guys. I think everything should be fine once I do a fresh install. The only other issue is the cpu is running at 50 - 65c but I just have to install 2 chassis fans and that should lower it hopefully.

it's a freezer cooler 7, it's okay. It delivers good Temps for cpu"s at 150watts.the guy at the store picked it out for me, he also picked out that asrock 970 extreme. , and he grabbed me the 9590 even tho I wanted the 9370 I think it's called. I just stayed with the 9570 anyways. When I get more cash I'll consider getting a low profile watercolor.

This? That is not going to cut it with the 9590. You need a CLC, the best air cooler can barely keep it cool. As soon as you put any load on that chip, your system will shut down due to over heating.

To be honest, who ever helped you pick things out is an idiot. (Or at least a new employee who thinks he knows how to build computers)

Yeah that's it. I'll take a look at that cooler for sure. I pretty much have to replace 80% of this computer haha. I also think I have return that PSU by thermal take which the same guy picked out cause it's just making electrical noises like static arcing, if you know what I mean, maybe it's not end for my cpu or something. But yeah I totally agree with you, this guy is totally an idiot. Lol

Heh yep, a complete noob or moron. Or he expects you to severely underclock the FX-9590, heh.

The Arctic Freezer Pro 7 is what I used on my dual core E8500 system. It did fine with it at 3.8 ghz.
The FX-9590 is a completely different animal, it really needs very decent water cooling.

oh jeez. Well I can't really afford watercooling atm and another another air cooler plus I can't return the one I have cause I destroyed the packaging trying to get it out. But Don you think Arctic Cooling Freezer XTREME Rev.2 would be okay? My store doesn't carry CLC cooling which is AcEsSalvation recommended.

Well its big and much better than the AC Freezer Pro 7, review here :
http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Arctic-Cooling-Freezer-XTREME-Rev-2-CPU-Cooler-Review/1301/6

But its only got that one fan in the middle. I think you could strap on two more fans on it in a push-push-pull arrangement and it would work close to a Noctua NH-D14 (which would be about the only air cooler recommended for it).

They should accept it, with probably a restocking fee, for the upgrade to the Freezer XTREME, at least I would think.

hmm, I can look around for more on the online site. I use Canada computers because its best computer store I know of and that is around me. And I'll call them tmmw about exchanging the Cooler. When I returned my asrock mobo they deducted 5% of my refund because it was opened. They would probably do that with the cooler I have. Thanks for the help cpmee!
