Debating getting an Xbox One for Birthday

Hey Guys

Had no idea where to put this post so sorry if Im in the wrong area

Basically its my birthday on wednesday (26/03/2014) and I dont know if to upgrade my pc or get an xbox one and fifa 14 which is the game I want to play
I have bf3/bf4/titanfall for pc so I wont be buying them for xbox one
Just friends at school have fifa and xbox so I wanted to play with them and Im a big football fan, had fifa 12/13 for xbox 360 and played it basically 24/7 was hooked to ultimate team
But is it worth paying out for a new console just for one game

Just need some suggestions really, which route to take or what else should I get for my birthday (Im going to be 15)
I have about £50 to put towards it and whatever my family decide to put in cards and parents so in total I guess my total budget is £300
If I get Xbox one I will probably get a 2nd hand one or opened once because they are like £200/£250 off gumtree (site like ebay but england only) not because im poor but It saves so much more money and they dont have a single scratch so why spend more?

Thanks
Luke

Speaking as someone who loves their XBOX 360, don't waste your money on the XB-ONE. Jump ship, and get a PS4, it's better, and less invasive of your privacy. Plus you can bet the exclusives will be better.

Hmm I wonder what people will suggest in this PC Gaming forum biggrin.gif Honestly only you can answer if its worth it or not. To me it is not but I haven't bought a console since the PS2. I would personally upgrade something from my PC. Just depends on what you want out of your gaming I guess.

I have an Xbox one and I love it. I bought it for Forza and future Halo. (I have a PS3 for GT).

As far as privacy, I just left the Kinect disconnected.

I have it setup in my HT and even though I have an HTPC, it is a nice interface to putz around on Netflix and youtube.

I think consoles are bought largely based on the games you plan to play. That being said, I think the Xbox has more media features than the new PS, the old one was great as a makeshift networked media player, but not so sure about the new one.

If you're into RPGs I'd get a 3DS over both an XBONE or PS4, and keep playing your pretty games on PC. Then go play Bravely Default.

If I chose to upgrade my pc what would you recommend to get, my pc should be below (Gaming Pc) take a look smile.gif
I basically want it to play future games, I play BF4 currently but next gen games will always need more graphics power so maybe selling my current gpu and getting a new one or doing sli which I will probably need a new psu for both cases...

If your friends have it on XB1 then it would probably be more worth getting it on XB1.

You have a gaming PC, not much of a need for consoles. If you want to spend $500+ just to play FIFA with friends then go ahead I guess.
