Crimping 18 gauge wires into a 3 pin fan connector?

Hey guys, looking for suggestions here.
My pump has 18 (maybe 16) gauge wires.
I want to put a 3-pin fan connector on it to plug into my fan contoller.
The wires are likely way too big to fit in the connector which normally takes 22 gauge fan wires.

Any idea on how to do this without some butt ugly adaptor cable?

If not, I'll just have to get one of these on my next FPC order.

solder the 22gauge wires to your 18gauge. Then sleeve it and no one will ever know
