I have wanted to get a 27" Korean for about a year now but the funds were never really available so finally I just said screw it and jumped on the Monoprice IPS deal from rakuten. I got it for 289 with 15% cash back from my bank of America card and 30 in rak cash and of course a free 1 year warranty. Wasn't really a good time to make such a purchase but I got tired of waiting and boy am I glad I got it! The colors on these thing are just amazing. The pixels and size gain over my 24" 1080p are nice but what blew me away are the amazing colors I'm getting. I really want 2 more even though I don't have the money and probably don't need them lol. Have to save some cash for my gpu upgrade as my GTX460 isn't going to push out a lot of fps but thankfully 95% of my gaming is wow. I had to run out and buy a new desk to accommodate 2 monitors and my bookshelves. I got the 30" by 5 foot linnomon top with those sawhorse lookin legs. btw don't buy those legs use real saw horse for the same money. By the time I got them built I was ready to smash them.

$289? Hot damn, those are the ones people get on ebay right? I really want to upgrade to a 27" 1440p monitor, but there's no way I'd pay $500 for the ASUS one
