Which is the best water block for the FX-9590

Thread Starter
I have decided that I am coming back to AMD since my PC usage has some what changed in the passed year.

I have been gaming less and been using Maya, Autodesk and video encoding more these days. From the benchmarks I've seen on various sites it seems that the 9590 performed better for productivity and fits the bill for what I currently do. The performance and IPC for gaming is negligible in comparison to the gains for productivity.

I currently have an EK Supreme Copper block for my i7-2600K and I was wondering if there are blocks out there that are better suited for amount of heat the 9590 puts out, keep in mind that I do plan on overclocking it for 24/7 use. I hope that I was lucky enough to get a excellent bin that will run 5.0-5.2 GHz stable for 24/7 use.

I have a dedicated loop for CPU/NB and plan on getting the EK-FB ASUS C5F-Z motherboard block as I have read the VRMs get insanely hot when you overclock the processor.

Would a 360 radiator be able to handle all the heat from the CPU and the VRMs and is there any CPU block that is better suited for the 9590?

The upgrade you are going to do is a sidegrade sometimes a downgrade(gaming).

It doesnt worth it wait for intel skylake or a lower prices on x99 plataform(2016)

I am fully aware that it may be a downgrade in terms of gaming depending on the game, but like I said, I don't game much these days. The productivity aspect of using Maya, Autodesk and encoding is my primary focus and the FX-9590 does out perform the 2600K in these tasks.
