Heavy FPS Drops in League of Legends - Page 8

In the UK I have a site I use, specialtech.co.uk

There must be some equivalent in mainland EU.

Might've found something http://www.aquatuning.de/index.php/cPath/24_289/XTCsid/1rkcck69ea57bko1olnefkdtk5 , but no fan. They look pretty bad imo, i saw a few heatsinks on google images and they're mostly blocky not like this.

Yes, that site will have the kinds of heatsinks I'm talking about. You'll need to find ones that are the right size for the VRM components you need to cool.

About the Mugen vs. hyper 212... The mugen is a far larger cooler, it might be a bit problematic with the spacing of your RAM. But the cooling performance should be notably better than the 212. If the Mugen is 2x the price I'd stick to the 212.

It'll depend on how high your memory modules are. If it doesn't have tall heatsinks it won't be a problem:

Yep, you did get the VRM mosfets/transistors right. Those will probably be burning hot in your rig ATM.

They sell these in specialtech, anything like that (including those enzotech ones) should fit, but I'd suggest measuring it up first.

So the VRM is correctly marked on my picture?

So a part of the heatsink you suggested would just cover nothing right? And the vrms the first vrms at the left would need a different heatsink no? Maybe those aren't even the vrms and im dumb.
Those look like they are correctly marked, I'd check with someone who has a bit more experience first..

But, basically the bottom (flat side) of the heatsink is connected (thermally) to the VRM mosfets.

Hey okay so the heatsink you linked me would fit like this on them right? But what about these things on the left side are these vrms too?

well the vrms are actually the ones labelled 1R2 the ones next to it are the controllers I believe?

hence why you see 6 vrms. its weird because it stated that board is a 4+1 design unless it really is 4+2 like it looks?

most coolers only cover the vrms itself but some actually cover that whole area including those controllers if thats what they are., IT isnt a really bad idea to do all of them

Oh damn so the controllers ( the red marked stuff) wont need a heatsink? Only the 6 things with 1r2 on them?
