Im not sure whats wrong on my old pc im running same firefox and it loads instantly does firefox not work well with some cpus. I have a 3570k 8g of ram on my old rig now i have a 4930k and 32'gs but it slow as **** i dont know why. I dont like google chrome one i dont trust google products and i hate the UI and google accounts . Opera is now also crap its based of chrome now and i just hate ui and how its setup version 12 was alot better but i dont think i should use it so out of date.

So you can't use Firefox... don't like Chrome and don't like Opera. Well. That leaves basically one mainstream choice left..IE. Or I guess there are others like Maxthon, but it switched to using WebKit as well.

You might also like to try Firefox derivatives such as Pale Moon or Waterfox and see if they run better.

Yea im not sure whats wrong with firefox on this pc does it run poorly with my pc not sure what affects browsers most but it super slow like its some kinda compatibility issue i think with hardware because i know firefox is not that slow at all even on older pc's my older pc with worst pcs was fine.Maybe it does not work with Ivy Bridge-E well? Idk because i did not do anything crazy in tweaks im running a clean install of windows with defaults to everything it just runs bad on my pc.

The only thing that changed from my old rig was ram and cpu and gpu.

3570k>4930k
570>780
8ram>32ram
Motherboard i dont think that would affect it

Im using same everything else like case, psu, cd drive, windows 7

Ill try things like waterfox and palemoon and post back here.

Hello,

Try checking out this link
http://bgr.com/2009/01/25/a-handful-of-firefox-tweaks-that-will-double-your-browser-speed/

I recommend using waterfox, with the above.

If you still have issues you can try the mentioned Pale Moon or Ice Dragon
http://www.comodo.com/home/browsers-toolbars/icedragon-browser.php

Both of which are still Firefox shells.

In the end, go with IE.

Ok so i tried what you said same problems. I tried water fox and palemoon both have same issue.

Icefire shockingly is best it actually loads instantly since it actually looked kinda like a odd site but it actually is best of all firefox based browsers in speed issue is the UI is not same as final firefox not sure if i like it also it comes with alot bloat ware you need remove alot addons.

Have you tried booting into safemode with networking and performing the same search, same browser, same address bar, which seems to take 6 seconds ?
I would be interested to see if you have the same lag with all extra window components shut down, which may include browser extras as well.

If you have the same lag...... i would point my fingers at your memory config, whether it be manufacturer, latency, amount, etc before i pointed at the CPU.

Let us know the results ?

Just out of curiosity what version of Windows 7 are you using home premium or ultimate?

And if you haven't already install another browser and do he same searches on there as it maybe you network connection...

The lag is only on firefox based browsers. Ill try safe mode. Ie and opera, chrome have no type lag super fast. Ill try safe mode.

Tried it in safe mode same thing. I think its firefox issue tho because every other browser i tried is fine opera, chrome,IE, even less popular ones like Maxthon so think its not my pc or any setting just firefox becoming old and out dated.

I think ill go with opera out of everything i tried..
