Wow that's nuts, thanks. Mine should be here Thursday, but my holdup will be waiting on my case but I made a lot of last minute changes on my build so not anyone's fault or anything.

The voltage unlocked one has stock clock of 1000MHz and boost of 1076MHz but I can't tell what the voltage is. It says 1.062 in the Xtreme Tuner Plus software, but when I run a bench it goes up to 1.212 in the results. Will keep you updated after work. 980TiHOFDualBIOSappendix.doc 323k .doc file
Thanks for bios upload, I presume pushed in is unlocked voltage then, one of my cards runs at 1.18 volts and the other 1.2 volts. 1076mhz at 1.212 seems really low?? Mabe they down clock it to start with?

It looks like the BIOS with the unlocked voltage starts at base clock of 1000MHz with a boost of 1076MHz. Then you go up from there!

The button is definitely a BIOS switcher, but still not sure how to use it. I tried to boot it with it pressed in and it didn't work; maybe there is no BIOS loaded on that setting by default?

There has to be a bios there for the card to know what to load up, or did the PC not boot? I think u have to turn on something in the kfa2 software then shut down the PC , press the button in and then turn the PC back on

There is a BIOS loaded, I was just wondering if the backup one was left blank for us to decide what to put on. The documentation that comes with the card is ****house.

I received my card two weeks ago. The max stable overclock is 1228 MHz in the GPU (1430 MHz in the boost clock) and 7600 MHz in the memory.

I had to increase the Power Limit and the TDP in the bios to avoid throttling. I changed the speed of the fans as well, but still down from 3000 to 2600 RPM at full speed.
