Thanks. At what % rpm are fans spinning with that boost and temps?

Automatic fan curve set by the card itself. 1480 Boost, something like 70 mhz overclock.

The BIOS is one I got from GALAX to try and fix the fan ramping issue I was having. Now instead of ramping down by about 400 RPM randomly, it only ramps down by about 150 RPM. It does take longer to ramp back up though.

No increased voltage or increased thermal limit. Stock BIOS with only modified fan settings from GALAX.

I have been crazy doing lots and lots of tests and this card has to be faulty. Not only temps and noise are noticeably higher than average, but rear button that should send more voltaje to the card and increase fan speed doesnt work, theres no difference at all, I have tested it several times.

So Im returning the HOF and keeping my MSI + Accelero. Im sad cause HOF is pretty as hell and suits my build really well but I dont want to risk having a second faulty one or whatever.

They removed the button feature from the card. The button now only the BISO selector.

The button is a dual bios switch. I flashed a second BIOS last weekend and can clearly see a different version number when my PC boots up.

Check out Skyn3t bios, I use it for my 780 Ti, I'm sure he has a 980 Ti version out there! If not, you can send him your stock bios and he will set it up for you!

Just ask nicely and be patient! biggrin.gif

There is a XOC custom bios for the 980 Ti HOF made by Galax. I flashed it last weekend but didn't see any significant gains with increased voltage so I just reverted to stock bios. Will give it another go when I have the time.
