The OSD works on some games? I never did get it to work when I tried it with my 780 HOF.

I find I can't play without the OSD anymore.

Both Afterburner and Precision OSD can display a lot more info than Xtreme tuner as well.

Yeah me too^

I joined becuase i love these cards(hof 780) i want to stick it in a vat of peanut butter and just eat the darn thing:p

The last time i tried to use software on my card not one would add voltage not even extreme tunerthats with me using a dmm for read out.

I would love to get that evga "classy type" app i have seen some gigabyte benchers using even a hard mod would be great but i cant find any info on it.I also asked a few pro gigabyte benchers for the mods but no responce...like 2 months and counting i have been waiting.
max voltage i have read is 1.22v and could really use some more when i have the card cold
This vid BF4 was easy at 1420 and benched 1450+ want to try to get passed 1500 in bf4 biggrin.gif

Yeah it works in some games, mainly remember it working in Crysis 3. I stopped using it due to the limited monitoring options though.

Does anyone know where we can link up on how to flash the skyn3t bios?

...Or am I confused and this is for the LED on the air cooler / shroud with the "Hall Of Fame" logo? The question still stands though, what does J13 do?

Lastly, what's the header with the blue highlight below (I actually think this is for the led on the shroud)?

Out of curiosity, I sent an email to Galaxy's technical Support, hopefully they can give us an answer!

Well, I got a response from Galaxy about the J9 and J13 headers. They need to ask their engineers and confirm first; not the response I/m looking for but better than nothing.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for asking.

We will have to confirm with our engineers what J13 is for and we'll update you as soon as we hear from them.

Kent

Hopefully the come back in a day or two and get us the answer.

On to other things; for anyone using PrecisionX, when changing voltage, are you really tied to just changing over voltage and not change the base voltage at all? The software needs some getting used to since MSI AB is just more intuitive. Both use rivatuner, so that was the easy part, but they could have improved on how things were laid out. Oh well, better than noting...

Not for nothing they had a lot of cold issues with the Ti when they had the gigabyte overclocking meet that they used the hof 760 card.
Looks to be all ok now

Hi Mark,

780Ti HOF has one fan port J9 only. J13 is not for fan and must not be plugged in to fan.

Thanks,

Steve

NOTE: So to everyone out there, make sure not to plug your fans to the J13 4-pin header that is beside the J9 (fan) 4-pin header! I'll add this to the OP once I get a response on the J13 4-pin header beside the fan header.

@Xartic1, @cowie, please add a picture of your card with your OCN username! I'll add the validation to your entry! Thanks! biggrin.gif

@Snef, I followed your build when you did it, plus the picture you posted has your watermark so that's enough! thumb.gif

Here's my HOF 780 Ti validation:

Wow, we now have 4 members! Cool to own a very rare card! biggrin.gif
