edit: i don't use CCC. when first installing AMD driver just before rebooting, i go to startup program and disable CCC. the only time i use CCC is when i am benching or adjusting scale.
Oh, I don't have the NVIDIA CP starting with Windows (I don't know if it has that option actually). I just use it as needed.
Anyway, yeah: I love everything about Crysis 3, but I guess if I were really honest, then I guess that I'm favoring it right now because it's the most realistic-looking and most beautiful game that I own. That's not saying much, but still. I mean, I'm comparing it to Crysis 1 and 2, Mirror's Edge, COD 4 Modern Warfare, Ghostbusters, Quake 4, Unreal II, TRON 2.0, and Freelancer. lol Not only that, but it's like a movie! I love that! I've played through it nearly a dozen times now, and I'm still not skipping cut scenes. Of course, the cut scenes are even better looking than the game itself. One of my favorites is when Psycho shows Prophet New York the first time: "Welcome to New York. Version 2. Point. Zero." lol As Pyscho walks up to that control pad, the lighting on him and in that room is just awesome. I love it!
Oh man, and then there's the extremely high-res detail of the faces in the cut scenes, like being able to see all of their wrinkles and their pores, and then there's the frickin realistic eyeballs. lol The colored part of their eyes looks so detailed that I could swear that I could zoom in with a microscope and still see extremely high-res detail. It's insane. lol
I guess there's something else that I'm not looking forward to if I go with the 290 instead of the GTX 770 (which would be cheaper and could get me an upgrade in 1 week from now): the subtle differences in the way everything is rendered. I hope I like it. :)
