Dedicated Physx GTX780 + GTX750

Hey Guys, So i just started playing Metro Last light with my 780 and for some reason i think i have narrowed down to a driver problem i was getting frame rate drops all the way down to around 9FPS in game and 2.5FPS in the benchmark.

I decided i would try dropping a new Zotac 750 1GB in along side my MSI 780 OC TF. After a a multiple amount of tests this is what i can assure is my avg benchmark scores.

As Metro is the only game i have that supports physx right now i cant test anything else but thought i would post up on here to help out some people in my similar situation and also get some input on my scores.

Anyone have any guesses as to why my bench using the cpu for physx is so low?

Nvidia cripples phys-x on the CPU on purpose so that you have to use a Nvidia video card to get good performance.

This i can believe! While playing Metro i have noticed a load of 10-19% on the 750 while in game, 29% in benchmarks momentarily. This is over an above the 95-99% 780 usage. So in my mind at these points of the game iam really seeing ~115%. Doing the Math 40/36FPS is 111% so there is an increase. Is this worth the $124 i spent on the 750? To me, gaming at 1080p on my tv in the living room probably not.

With that being said i dont have time to play with overclocks before i need to return the card in the return policy window. It could potentially see a further increase.

Removed the 750 and OC'ed the 780 170MHZ on the core. This gained backed the 4 FPS. Ill be returning the 750 as i believe the money is better spent saving for a second 780 which would show improvments in all games not just physx, like in this current setup. YRMV
