If I get around to putting in a power supply with more juice before this ends I'll be able up the voltage and see what I get, also is there a trick to getting cpu-z to show highest recorded values?
Open 2 windows of gpu-z, set one to the sensor tab & set the clock box to max, then click the question mark on the window with the main tab open & start the render window & run it to show the max boost clock.
I usually just tile them like this for screensWarning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Driver settings finetuning
Is there a guide that shows what is legit? Something to look at before I run benches?
Also, shouldn't it be NVIDIA VS AMD ??
Driver setting finetuning is all good, tess tweaking is fine. Going with hwbot rules, so basically things not allowed are:
Any software or human interaction altering the perceived speed of the benchmark program, tricking it to believe it ran faster
Wireframe hacks: any software or driver causing a benchmark program not (properly) render the textures
Rendered image differs too much from the original due to other software tweaking
Good eye on the AMD vs. ATI, I basically stole pizzaman's layout from a previous competition for this one & didn't catch that...
