Probaly due to those low-end 16shader mobile gpu's. I see them everywhere.
Once time I was talking with a guy that was complaininig about GTA IV. "This game is stupid, I can't play it on 2gb card", He was trying to game using 16shader,64bit bus low-end mobile Nvidia card. He was suprised when I told him that the memory size is not the factor of performance.

And so far looks like the RED TEAM is still the first.

And so far looks like the RED TEAM is still the first.

14 Green Team Single Card Users / 20 Red Team Single Card Users

7 Green Team Dual Card Users / 14 Red Team Dual Card Users

2 Green Team Triple Card Users / 3 Red Team Triple Card Users

0 Green Team Quad Card Users / 3 Red Team Quad Card Users

As of this post. I'd say the green team is doing proportionally better than the red team. Especially since there is a sub 200K point difference between the two and the Quad card users alone make up ~130K of that lead on the red team. And nearly 120K points for the green team was just denied (:sad-smile:sad-smile:sad-smile) because of formatting. And that 110K points was purely from single and dual cards alone :(, ran by two people respectively.

If 6 people were to run all three benchmarks on single cards for the green team; they would make up that deficit with an average of 30K per user, which is a low-ball estimate.

If 7 people were to run all three benchmarks on dual cards for the green team; they would make up that deficit and surpass the red team with an easy low-ball average of 50K per person.

Heck, if you got three people to do quad-SLI for the green team and run all three benchmarks (without even bothering for optimizing), you'd make up that difference easily.

TL;DR: Red team is winning by sheer # of users :D! (Friendly BM).

You can say it's friendly all you want, it still sounds like sour grapes to me. Woulda, coulda, shoulda doesn't fly very well. Maybe if the prohibitive cost of entry for nVidia for most and those Quad-SLI solutions weren't so high, us 'peasants' wouldn't be much of a challenge? Either way, green team better come with it the rest of the way, though any claim to victory or loss is premature.

Like they say, it's not over till the fat lady sings. Or is it the 'fat moderator' in this case? biggrin.gif

BTW, I say this as someone who'll probably be green next time around. I just go with whatever strikes me at the time. I couldn't care less who makes it.

You also need to factor in the price per performance, there aren't more Red than green out of coincidence. You can buy 4 270s for the price of 2 770s, 3 280X for the price of 2 780s or 2 290s(which basically match the performance of the 780) and save enough to buy a 280. Price per performance is what it all boils down to and nVidia, though I admit they make better video cards, loses that battle in gross proportions.
