You'd be late to the party. Self powered tech has been out for a long time, and some smart people have used it to cut down on their electric bills with self powered power strips.

Corsair is a major sponsor for the build, and is showing some love with their goodies. smile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gif

Just because I'm an MMORPG fanatic, what's the highest rating a PSU can achieve? I thought it ended with Platinum..

Congrats on getting yours so soon, very nice of Corsair.

I eagerly await mine, so I can finally start my new build in my 900D, which is still sitting in the box, unopened, waiting, and waiting and waiting........smile.gif

I hope you at least pat the box or rub it every day. Just to keep it happy and let it know it's loved.

I have some pictures comparing it to a 1200i in my build log if you want some perspective on its size. Hint. It's big.

LOL, yup, everyday the 900D box gets a reassuring pat.

I just looked at your shots comparing the 1200i and the 1500i, Good Golly Miss Molly, it's huge. Nice photography btw.
