I'm just bored don't take it personally. Same with you Krulani I agree with everything you just posted. My speaker system is in repair so can't game right now haha. I would admit I'm pretty butt-hurt about how Nvidia has been treating us recently. Every single generation of their GPUs only had 0 to 1 face slaps to people who wanted a top end GPU for that generation. Like someone who bought a 8800 GTX then the 8800 Ultra came out. Or bought a GTX 280 then the GTX 285 came out. Or bought a GTX 480 which was quickly replaced with the GTX 580. What have we had this generation?
GTX 680 which was a $500 mid-ranged GPU
GTX Titan which was the most expensive GPU ($1000) ever made just to get the true performance the GTX 680 was supposed to have
GTX 780 which was a face slap for people who bought Titans for gaming reasons and got same/better performance for much less
GTX 780ti which shortly came out after the 780. I don't even think EK made water blocks yet for the 780 Classified before the Ti came out
GTX 780/780ti 6GB coming out shortly which helps with gamers wanting to upgrade to 4K & surround gaming
GTX Titan Z which is a Troll attempt to charge a $1000 premium on 2 GPUs that already have a $250~$500 premium to begin with
That's 6 face slaps in one single generation in my opinion. You may not feel the same but I'm someone whose been loyal to Nvidia since the very beginning but this is getting out of hand. I can't stand AMD though I've been disappointed every time compared to NVidia GPUs. I would have easily jumped on a duel GPU card this generation even after all these face slaps but I'm not that stupid. Looks like I can only hope for a GTX 790 or wait for the GTX 880's. Since the rumored specs of the 880's look like another Nvidia troll attempt by doing the same thing they did with the 680's (mid ranged GPU with a high ranged GPU price), it's safe to say there should be a GTX 890 shortly after the 880's are released if they never come out with a GTX 790.
EDIT: 7 face slaps this generation actually. First generation we've seen manufacture locked cards with voltage controls and not being able to use custom PCB's/coolers.
