Watercooler tubing/hose differences? - Page 3

no way would i buy that pump. cheap, low flow chinese and says its made with aluminum in the description. i see no aluminum. do not skimp on the pump trying to save money. the pump is the heart of your loop. the pump dies and so does your loop.
contact @bmaverick at http://bmaverickddcpumps.wordpress.com/buy-ddc-pumps-here/ send him an email and ask what he would charge to ship you a pump. since you plan to use 3/8" tubing, you wont need to worry about buying a top until you really want to.

Can you find Tygon 3603 tubing ? it s use in many industries and it s one of the best after the LRT , you might find it for cheaper since it s not use only for water cooling. The tube is not cheap do , it s twice the price of normal wc tube, i used some for 6 month now and still nearly no clouding and no gunk. I m pretty sure they are some of the best since they are used in laboratory and vacuum application.

Can't comment on the pump you picked. I've never heard of it before so hopefully someone here has some experience with it.

Yeah, it was like a blind shot... But I'll give a try, even chinese, I've heard good things about DX water cooler products, with some luck I'll get a fine pump tongue.gif

I'll check this link too, after all upgrades are always welcome!

This guy had no luck with Tygon... D: Link
I'll check for it in my city anyway, thanks! thumb.gif

I heard only 2 comments about it, and seems pretty decent... No problems at all... But just for caution, I'll a flow meter and I'll observe if its working before open any kind of game or program that may set GPU/CPU on full.

When it arrives I'll make a review and I'll post it in here, its a really cheap pump, if it works right, then why not? biggrin.gif

the guys in the link used Tygon 3909 , it s not the same kind as 3603 ,........ tygon make all kind of tube at all kind of price, even some used in the most critical application, some can withstand vacuum at 80 degrees for days , way way worst then anything a wc loop can throw at it , specially for leeching. Other are made for acid and corrosive stuff aswell, what you pay in these case is constitency and quality , because watercooling brand are all outsourcing the manufacturing and have no control on the raw material and composition , that why i would go for tygoon over anything , just need to choose the right one.

when you sell tube for medical and pharma application you just need to be on another level then wc brand , it s not the same league

only drawback with the tygoon is that they are nearly too fexible and can kink if bend too hard. the other thing is that they have a white marking on the outside but you can easily wipe it off with a bit of water and a towel.
but if you can get them at better price then LRT they are worth it , to give you an idea in Europe , this tubing is about 9 euros per meter.

edit: there is two kind of 3603 , the old R-3603 that has some plastizier and the new E-3603 without plastizier, buteven the old one is amongst the best / less worst.

I don't really care about info on the tubings, since its really easy to remove... 9 euros is a nice price, 1 Euro = 3,25 Real (Brazil currency), its about 25 Euros cheaper in there :|
Wish I could get for that price drool.gif

LOL HAHA biggrin.gif

SURE you can make good money. Actually I'm thinking on opening a WaterCooler e-shop. The two big ones that we have (GBA WaterCooler and AquaTuning) are watercooler gangsters...
>>1<< unit of compression fittings from Koolance 3/8" Tubing costs 55Reais, something like 17~18 Euros or 25US$. jealoussmiley.gif
