9590 with Sabertooth 990FX R 2.0 vs Crosshair - Page 4

LLC is at 75%. That volt reading is during prime in hwmonitor. Yeah cpunb is manually set around 1.2 right now.

That 1.37 is also low I failed prime ~30 in so I'm probably looking at 1.4 for a good 4 hour stable or so, if it isn't the other voltages holding me back.

That would still be a great voltage to run 4.7, keep it up

It was my first loop and I only wanted to do it once, I actually run both the FX bench and my 4770k off it. It was a bit pricey to set up but cheaper than 2 full loop would have been. Plus I get to take advantage of the weather.

Man that seems like a ton of voltage TBH, I notice the 4x4gig of corsair ram and wonder if it may be your CPU_NB that's throwing it off. What are your setting for it??

I've seen a couple of 9370s so far that had very high vids and the guys trying to tame them took them back caus it was such a headache. I'm really starting to wonder how much "binning" they actualy did. When you think about it any 8350 I have seen would run 4.4 with a 4.7 turbo at 1.53+ volts?? Cause that's how much voltage they allow some 9370s at stock settings.

yea im pretty sure stock with a defaulted bios put me at a1.53-1.5V I can run lower voltages its just when testing my last two cores will always be the ones to fail or even just one of them which usually means more voltage
