Mac Mechanical Keyboard Suggestions? - Page 2

Unicomp does make a model m that is designed for a Mac. http://pckeyboard.com/page/category/SpacesaverM
It sadly doesn't have all the other requirements you want, backlit, usb ports but it is a solid keyboard and its new.

I plan on getting my niece one for hers.

The Fn volume keys will work, but the 'next' 'pause' 'play' keys will not.

Haven't figured out what those keys are for considering there's no DVD player. So those keys seem useless anyway. Would foregoing them open up my options? I miss the delete, end and home keys terribly. Would those work like they do on a PC?

yes, they work just as they would on any keyboard

( I run OSX and have 4 different mechs currently )

there's nothing special about apple keyboards, a keyboard is a keyboard, they will all work as they would on pc

Jixr, you have 4 different keyboards that you use with OSX? Which one is your favorite? Do you use them for different things?

I have a poker2

Quickfire XT

and 2 Quickfire Rapids

I use the XT exclusively at work, and the Poker 2 and the QFR's at home.

they all act like normal keyboards, except the windows keys are the command keys.
