General Cleaning.

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if someone could point me in right direction for cleaning my PC? I am looking at all these different things for cleaning, and I have no clue what to put my money on.
As of now, my main priorities are cleaning off my monitor and keyboard. Now, I have a problem with my monitor, it is very, very dirty, and not like dusty. There are these swatches and random spots all over the screen from god knows what, I have no clue what I should buy to get this out, I want a good cleaning kit, but I am not sure which one I should buy. Do you guys have any suggestions on this? Second, I have a very grimey keyboard from my dirty ass hands (hopefully I am creating a vivid picture, haha) is there something specific I should buy for this? Also, it is very dusty and dirty in between the keys, I would like to take care of that. You know, it really sucks living in the desert, but anyways. Thanks ahead of time for any help, excited to get this badboy cleaned.

For cleaning the monitor just go to your local electronics store and buy some generic screen clean and use a good CLEAN microfiber cloth. I typically use one cloth to use with the screen clean and one to get of any leftovers for the best result. Bezels/stand of monitor you can clean with high % alcohol and a cloth.

For the keyboard, dismantle it and use the vacuum cleaner to get any hair, dust, food etc. If you can take of each button, do so and clean them properly with a cloth and high % alcohol. If not, try to go over each button carefully.
The rest of it cloth and alcohol.

You can also use compressed air, like the big generators you typically have in a garage (Perhaps best way to clean the PC itself inside). Not really sure what you call it in English, but hope you get what I mean.

This always works good for me, and gives the new look to it smile.gif

The only way to get a good thorough clean inside the case is this metro vacuum
most will agree

Its the only thing aside from a microfiber brush that gets caked on dust off with a breeze.. its a little pricey but typically I used to buy 8 cans of compressed air a year, and they are like 8.99 where I live. Typically once a compressed air can gets really cold you need to wait or the pressure isn't as high also and by the time they are 40% or less they dont push anything in my opinion. This product pays for itself.. usually for more then electronics too.

1. Compressed air
2. Vacuum cleaner [be careful not to touch Motherboard, GPU, etc with the plastic parts of the vacuum cleaner]
3. Soft cloth and monitor cleaning liquid [for the monitor]
