It's about battery size as well. I want a smartphone that doesn't die in hours from actual hard usage and a few additional apps installed. Phones should be at a >4000 mAh battery standard by now considering their potential power usage. Do not care if it has to be twice as thick to accomplish it. I should not have to consider tethering external batteries with all the new phones or battery cases from third-parties of rough repute that reduce functionality to get what I need. frown.gif

No, the Sony Xperia Z2 stays my choice.
Z2 > S5 > HTC One

Best upcomming mobile, hands down.

I don't disagree about preferring the Z2 over the M8, but the S5 belongs last on my list. Why do you prefer it to the One?

Rooted? Get a custom ROM, would help the battery or buy a LG G2.

LG G2 is probably the only underrated phone ever, DESTROYS the S4 (I own both and I can easily show proof). Still have my Sony Z1 then decided to give it to my brother as its not that great (can also show proof as he still as it). If you guys ask why do I have all these phones, I buy and sell phones and the most sold phone for me was the iphone 4, yep the iphone 4.

Would love to play with a "M8".

Not feelin' it. I had the HTC One before it got obliterated by a self guided robot [long story redface.gif]. I don't like how they moved the back/home buttons onto the screen, just takes up more room.
Not much of an upgrade overall and it will still carry its poor battery life over. I suppose I'll stick with my ancient iPhone 4 until something good comes along. jealoussmiley.gif
Perhaps I'll try to get my hands on an Oppo.

I really don't understand all the camera complaints. It's a PHONE. Even the worst camera in a modern phone is beyond good enough that the photographer plays 99% of the role in the outcome of the image, not the camera itself, in typical usage.

For the 1% of users out there that can actually make good use of a better camera (you know, professional photographers or photography hobbyists), there are these magic things called DSLRs, or heck, even the now forgotten point and shoot.

Just my personal thoughts on the matter. It really irks me when people spaz out over the most insignificant aspects of something and ignore the proverbial meat.
