It's your PSU. Overclocking should not be attempted with this low-quality junker powering your computer. I'm sorry. It's too risky.

EDIT: also if its 12 hour stable why would it reboot?

If it's not the PSU, then it could also be the motherboard. At $65, I would bet that it's not a very good overclocking board. I mean at that price, I'd bet that things like the VRMs are of low quality.

Also, 12 hours of the Small FFTs test is nothing. This CPU has an IMC (Integrated Memory Controller), so the Blend test would be a lot better. Also, the length of time is kind of meaningless. There are 82 FFT sizes in the Blend test alone and it takes about 24 hours to get through all of them at least one time each.

An even better Prime95 test would be the Custom Blend test (when you open Prime95, click Custom. Or, just make sure the Blend test is selected before you select Custom). The reason why is you can tell Prime95 to use about 80-85% of your installed memory instead of the default of 1600 MB. If your system can do this test for about 24 hours, then you're good to go.

It will, but I'd recommend a good Gigabyte or ASUS board instead.

Yeah, but you're also having to deal with the "silicone lottery".

Anyway, what do you think of Gigabyte's Z87 boards?
