+1... ban them off every damn game they own, to the point that they can't even LAUNCH them.

This was implemented with WONID's before the big switch to Steam-based delivery from Valve with Counter-Strike 1.0/1.3.

This is not new, but not often utilized in MP gaming.

This is something I wish that more games had. Oh, and if you go for like, lets say, a month without cheating, they will give you a message saying, I think you have learned your lesson, and they send you back to the main servers.

Genius idea there Titanfall. A+ thumb.gif

I cant agree to this for 1 simple reason. Some games, its more fun to cheat. IE: the sims, Need for speed (at least the old games), sometimes SimCity. Point is, some games can have added fun with cheat, but for online games, dont ruin it for everyone else. I think this punishment that the Titanfall dev's thought of is actually genius. That way the cheaters can still be skillless jackbutts without ruining anyone elses day but eachothers.

ESP yes, but aimbot, meh. Aimbotting isnt that bad, I mean there already is a gun in the game that does that for you. Plus, if you turn them all off and play with hackers for a month, I think you deserve a little retribution lol.

I agree with this.

Back in my Days of Modern Warfare 2, I used a tool that let me host modded lobbies, and I did so for myself and friends and we had a ton of fun. I ended up getting VAC banned for that but alot of the people in the CoD community thought that anyone banned on a previous CoD game should be banned from them all. I'm just glad Treyarc and IW never listened to the community biggrin.gif

What I meant was: if a player cheats online, they should lose their full licenses for all games from that publisher (at least on that account). This is all a proposal I'm making only under the assumption that legitimate players wouldn't be banned or at least have a decent appeal system that will reverse invalid bans. If you want to "ruin" the value/enjoyment of the game for yourself, feel free with no penalty. Once you bring those cheats online and are ruining other customers' rights to enjoy the game they paid for, you would lose all licensed rights to play the games on your account. thumb.gif

Yea, they would never do that. If someone like you were banned in MW2, you would never buy MW3.

Titanfall is on the source engine right?

That makes it easily, one of the easiest easy engines for easy cheating.
