EVGA today announced a 2 GB version of its GeForce GTX 750 FTW graphics card which happens to be an Amazon-Exclusive. The card is built similarly like the original GeForce GTX 750 FTW version and comes with EVGA's own ACX cooling solution.

So is the 750 capable of taking advantage of that ram or is it just for e-peen?

This is an excellent question.

For $150, 2GB of RAM and an EVGA ACX cooler seems like a good deal to me.

I actually don't know on this one.....

The card will come pre-overclocked with speeds of up to 1229 MHz core, 1320 MHz GPU Boost,

While it may not use the entire 2GB, I bet it could handle situations where it would push more than 1GB.

Seems like it is trying to be a TI so badly. Has EVGA always made FTW version of low end cards?

If this has an iron choke and d-paks .. plus a 42% min fan speed on a sub 60W card like the GTX 750 Ti FTW , Then frown.gif
post #8 of 23
Yes, the Ti FTW fans can not be under voted. I'm not sure why anyone would want this card over a reference 750 that is pretty quite or a 750 Ti FTW that is only priced a little bit higher.

I don't agree with EVGA's pricing on this card. I would spend a little extra and grab a 750 Ti instead. thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif

If I worked at EVGA product development (I don't) I'd make something that counters Galaxy's low profile GTX 750 & GTX 750 TI

ASUS GTX750-PH-1GD5 is single slot + 1 fan on top but it has a regular width PCB

EVGA has a 2GB GTX 750 already https://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=02G-P4-2752-KR , http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=02G-P4-2754-KR
