MCP35X PWM controlled by AI Suite II -- Lower RPM at higher fan power %, and vice versa

Hi Guys,
I'm having this really weird problem with my MCP35x. I'm using Asus AI Suite II to control the RPM using pwm on the CPU_FAN header. I'm not able to get any results using Speedfan even after looking at the MCP35x with Speedfan thread.

When I click "test", it goes through the various power percentages and reports the speeds, but they're all backwards.

The higher the power, the lower the RPM. I confirm this visually and audibly by looking at my res turbulence and listening for pump noise level, and indeed the higher I set the temp curve too, the lower speed the pump is running.

The reason I tried to start using AI Suite II was to lower the RPM since right now it is pretty loud, just a little whiney whurring noise. However, with this problem, I'm slightly worried that as the temperature increases the fan power will go down and it will eventually build up and harm my system!

Has anyone experienced this before? What should I do?

Thanks,
-lxr1

P.S. I did take off the header from the wires and re attach it when I was sleeving it, but I was pretty careful and I've looked at pictures of the pump and I do have the wires correctly attached. I don't know if flipping the wires would cause that anyway... i don't think that's how it really works haha but just to add all the details.

Welp, I turned off Q-Fan control in BIOS and it works perfectly now. I guess if anybody else has this problem, that's the answer. I still don't know how to hook speedfan up to this thing, but mods I guess you can decide whether to leave the thread or not.

Definitely leave it, little answers like this are always good for people to search =)
