few questions concerning static pressure fan and cpu/side-fan cooling

I've got a few questions related to the use of high static pressure fan for cpu heatsink and gpu cooling (side-fan intake)

-I know that high static pressure fan are the best for cpu heatsink. I'm looking to add a fan to my side-panel of my Corsair 200R in order to cool my R9 290. Are high static pressure fan the best for this application?

-I'm thinking about buying Corsair SP120 PWM High Performance for both application but people are also recommending Cougar Vertex PWM. Which one is the best?

do you have a reference 290? If so adding a fan to the side to cool it won't help because of AMDs crappy stock cooler. Any good fan will be good enough to cool so long as you have a good cooler on the 290.

Both the corsair and Cougar are about the same so pick what you like the look of, and if you are going PWM I am guessing you want it to be quiet again both fans are similar in how loud they are.

I've got the MSI R9 290 Gaming. I'll be reducing the RPM to 50% in order to keep them quiet.
