[YT] Watch Dogs - Welcome to Chicago + Nvidia Technologies PC + PS4 Version Tech Demo - Page 11

well apparently the video was ps4 devkit footage so i wont be suprised to see the pc version look alot nicer

http://www.dsogaming.com/news/report-latest-pc-trailer-from-watch_dogs-is-actually-from-the-ps4-build/

this happened through confusion so a wrong truth was perpetuated and people ate it up, or was it an aprils joke from ubisoft thinking.gif

now what i dont like is the fact that the game is on ps3, for that reason alone makes you wonder if they cut the game down in order to bring it to older gen. older gen must die.

Yea ps4 makes sense. I know it seems shallow but hey, when you're part of the PC MASTER RACE you deserve the best biggrin.gif

You do realize that XboxONE and PS4 both use x86 chipsets, right? If anything, the ports are about to get a lot better.

This is hilarious. This game looks to be a lemon. Why would Ubi take off the video and not create a demo if they have nothing to hide?

Just watched the PC "tech demo" video again on a bigger screen... and wow. After a second (and closer) evaluation, it looks like total trash. Especially the NPC character models. Holy crap do they look bad. If that really is the PC version, it better be low settings. The first scene showing all the city's tall buildings looks fantastic, but the second scene looks like the X360 version of GTA4. Just hideous. Textures look flat, blocky, and dull. Blegh.

At the very least, this game had better be very well optimized and run at high frame rates with minimal stutters/hitches, because that's the only reasonable excuse I can think of for this. I'm expected 100+ fps with highest settings on a 780 Ti for this ugliness.

A port is still a port. If I'm paying $50 for a game, I expect it to be optimized for PC.

Where did you get the idea that it wasn't optimized for PC?

learn to read the thread, the trailer is actually in ps4 dev kit footage, they should just close this thread or rename it
