It's easy to forget just how bad PS2 looks wink.gif

If you compare this trailer to the GTA5 trailers, you'll see that the textures are in general better in Watch Dogs. GTA5 had really lousy textures because of RAM limitations. Ubisoft has stated that Watch Dogs is 1080p/30 FPS on PS4, 960p/30 FPS on X1. Assuming that there are no frame rate drops, they're way ahead of GTA5 which was 720p and often had frame rates south of 20 (and let's not forget the horribly slow texture streaming on X360). 1080p is more than twice the resolution of 720p and will result in a much sharper image.

While the game might not be as pretty as it was at E3, this is still better than the old consoles could ever do.

Did Ubisoft knocked on your door with a lot of cameras to film the interior of your appartment? So I have to tell you that you won't be able to visit your appartment in the game, sorry. wink.gif

On a serious note, the game look promising, graphic and gameplay wise. Even if the graphic are not on par with the E3 2012 presentation, they still look good. Can't wait to try it.

having lived in chicago my whole life and currently working downtown, I have some pretty high expectations for the level of detail. It's one thing to get the major landmarks but it's another to get the not so major (but still recognizable) landmarks. How accurate is lower whacker? DId they get the 'L' stops in the right streets (even if they change the names of the streets) do they accurate recreate the feel and look of the other neighborhoods? I really hope they do answer yes to all these questions. The video promising but stock footage isn't necessarily how the game will be.

As for the graphics. They look decent but not better then GTA V. And certainly not better then the E3 demo. The issue at hand is that we know they are capable of amazing graphics. We simply want the best they are capable of and this latest trailer is not that.

The Steam version will require Uplay to be launched as well, just as FarCry 3, Splinter Cell Conviction and Blacklist do.
