I am looking to upgrade/replace my cpu, mobo and memory. My current build was built 5-6 years ago and upgraded case and p/s 2-3 years ago. Some info is below. Any advice and suggestions would be great!

Approximate Purchase Date: Within the next month

Budget Range: $250~$450

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming (CS:GO - TF2 - SimCity5) - Web Browsing - ChromeCast

Are you buying a monitor: No - Currently have Dell E2209Wc

Parts to Upgrade: CPU - MOBO - RAM

Current P/S: Corsair TX650W

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Amazon - Newegg - Microcenter

Location: Long Island, NY

Parts Preferences: Intel Only

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: Dell E2209Wc

Current config: Cooler Master Case - E8400 - EVGA 780iFTW - GTX260 - OCZ SSD - Windows 7
Will reuse case, GPU, Windows, DVD, SSD, PS

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: I keep getting BSOD. I believe it is a combination of my MOBO/RAM going bad.

Thank you for the response. I have never really gave AMD a chance - but for that price I might go with it. I would be able to replace my GPU as well within my budget.
