Need a new mechanical keyboard for gaming and typing. Suggestions are welcome.

I want to replace my Logitech G15 keyboard which I have been using for more than six years now. I am looking at Mechanicals mostly.

This is my short-listed requirements:

- Keyboard back-light is a MUST
- Gotta be of great build quality, which should last.
- As compact as possible. No extra keys or LCD display needed. And the key markings should be bold and clear.
- My budget is somewhat limited within 130-140 bucks only. I live in India, so that means around ₹ 8000

My preferred brads: Roccat | Logitech | Cooler Master

Brands of disliking: Corsair (I will rather die before getting one of their peripherals again) | Razer

TIA.

PS : Kindly stick with mainline brands only, cause in my country not everything is available.

Go with G710+ or CM Storm QuickFire TK.

Thanks, the CM looks ideal for me, but there just has to be something, and there is the lack of palm rest! Darn it!mad.gif

You can always buy an aftermarket rest that doesn't attach to the board but just sits in front of it.

^ Thanks.

I was almost ordering the QuickFire TK, but at the last moment noticed that it has the arrow keys merged with the numpad, which will be a huge PITA for me. And the QuickFire Pro has partial back-light. So the only option left is the QuickFire Ultimate. I hope that's a good choice?

QF ultimate is a good choice for sure.
