GTX 690 wont stay at stock. PLEASE HELP!

My Asus Gtx 690 Gpu Core clock randomly Jumps around with no Overclocking set what so ever.

Idel its at 324.0Mhz. When gaming it jumps from 912 to 731.6 to 1058.2 to even at times 324.0.. Just jumping randomly over and over and planting itself but for only short periods. I noticed this while using TechpowerUP gpu-z
What would make it do this? I am running in Maximize 3d performance sli mode, get the same result when i disable it as well.. Phsx set to auto.

Any suggestions for this is my first dual gpu card. Thanks

Specs:
2700k oc'ed 4.7 {Stable}
Maximums Gene/gene3 mobo
Nvidia drivers i have tried. 331.40 & 335.23

Yeah, that's an intended feature. It drops the frequency when the gpu isn't fully utilized. I wouldn't worry: if anything, its a good thing.

There's TXAA and Adaptive Vsync but otherwise nothing to go crazy about. You only need one of those overclocking tools: they do the same thing and will conflict if used together.

Also, I suggest joining the GTX 690 owners club: if you ever need help in the future with a card-specific problem, ask them.
