50° C stressed at stock on a 280 rad is pretty normal to me.
What's your room temp?

Keep in mind that your rad can effectively remove much more heat when really stressing ypur OC'd chip.
Simple to understand, tuff to explain.

Room temp is 20C and I have a 280 and 420 rad for GPU and CPU.

I'm actually trying to overclock right now.

I'm at 4.3 stable with 1.225 vcore. I believe that is a lot of volts for the chip, correct? Any way to go higher without adding too many volts? I'm shooting for 4.6 minimum.

Bare in mind that 4.3Ghz is equivalent to 4.5ghz on a 3570k and 4.7Ghz on a 2500k, so it seems ok to me.
