Thanxx for the support. As for the GPU I already ordered it. Not shipped yet.
I will post some other pictures with the GPU installed. It's a MSI GTX 760 HAWK Edition.
Not a lot of choice out there for the GPU as far as the colour scheme goes.
I chose this card because I didn't want to spend a fortune and it was the only GTX 760 with a back plate on it.
It has some yellow accents on the cooler's shroud. I will see if it matches the rig or maybe the PSU.
For the moment I won't be watercooling the GPU so I'm not going to add another 240 mm rad in the front. I will see how it goes.

Well there's always the Galaxy HOF 780 with the white PCB if you've €500 to spend tongue.gif

The one you got is a very decent model. Though it may not
run as cool as say the Gigabyte or Asus DCU II models, yours
has the highest clock frequency out of all of the 760's and OC's very well.
The fact that it comes with a back plate is a nice addition indeed.
If you want to match the color scheme, you could always get some vynil
wrap to cover up the yellow bits... Just an idea.

I don't feel comfortable spending 500 euros or more on a graphics card.
By the way the Galaxy is not available in France where I live. It doesn't matter anyway cause I'm not a gamer.
Thanxx for the tip about the vynil wrap. I'll see about that. I saw a tutorial about painting the GPU with some vynil spray paint on TechSyndicate over Youtube.
I had the Gigabyte GTX760 2Go GDDR5 OC Rev 2.0 but it was a little bit noisy for my taste so I returned it and ordered the Hawk instead.
My brother has the Gaming Edition and it was freaking silent even on load so I'm eager to try the Twin Frozr IV cooler on the Hawk.
I'm a silent freak. The only thing making noise in my rig it's the D5 pump in the reservoir but it's almost audible cause I've turned it to speed 1. I'll keep you posted.

Was joking about the Galaxy. €500 is indeed a lot of money.
You'd be able to get 2x Hawks for the same price.

I hear ya tongue.gif I read some reviews and it's meant to be pretty quiet alright.
But I suppose you don't know until you actually try it yourself.

If you're not a gamer, what do you use the rig for then ?
And one more question, what temps are you getting on the CPU ?

Will keep an eye out. Good luck thumb.gif

I just received the 760 Hawk. It's impressive how quiet it is. And that sexy black metallic back plate is something.
I play occasionally, I just meant I'm not an everyday gamer.

As for the temps, my cpu chip is a bad overclocker. I wasn't lucky.
I have 2 profiles in the bios as for the overclocking.

I got it stable 4.0 Ghz at 1.20 Vcore ----> temps are in the mid 60's with some peaks in the 70's during stress testing with AIDA 64
I got it stable 4.4 Ghz at 1.29 Vcore ----> temps are in the mid 70's with some peaks in the 80's during stress testing with AIDA 64
These temperatures were measured when the room temp was 20° C.

But the rig is whisper quiet all the time even during stress testing.

Will post some pictures with the GPU installed later.
