sidewinder only had 75 left when i got mine in december. he said he wouldnt be getting anymore.

Gentle Typhoons are actually manufactured by Nidec. Scythe only handles the marketing and distribution for them.
And I beleive Scythe lost that contract recently. So they might be getting more difficult to obtain until someone else picks up that contract.
They are such good sellers, that surely, someone else will.

When I learned of this, I rushed and picked up 10 more AP-45's I wanted before they disappeared.
Look to Dazmode in Canada if you want AP-45 fans. They run at 2150 rpm, but my Lamptron can slow them down to as low as 300 rpm.
They go for 20 CN$ or around 16 USD$

Do u have a link for the comparison? Im refering to the enermax cluster advance pwm, not the normal cluster.

They will be used to push air through a 240mm rad, not sure which one yet, but i'm leaning towards a lof FPI Alphacool since I have had good experience with them in the past.

Any Advice is appreciated
Corsair makes some good high static pressure 120mm fans in both a high performance and a low noise variety. They even sell them in packs of two. The colored rings come in several colors so you can hopefully match your color scheme. http://www.corsair.com/en-us/air-series-sp120-quiet-edition-high-static-pressure-120mm-fan-twin-pack

Corsair SP120s are anything but quiet on a rad except dialed down below 1000 rpms. They are easily the loudest / most-annoying buzzsaw-sounding fans I've ever had the misfortune to suffer through, and only then until i could get different fans. Besides SP120s, I've ran NB blacksilent pros, Aerocool sharks, Noctua NFP12s, CM sickleflows, Gelid Wings, and of course Gentle Typhoons. All of the fans I've used have been significantly quieter than SP120s, especially the GTs. Nothing's better than the Gentle Typhoon at performance / noise.

SP120 vs GT AP15 on a rad

Dazmode, Sidewinder, FrozenCPU, and PPCs are all out of the AP-15.
And I don't think anyone will be stocking them again in the near future.

frozen actually has been popping in and out of stock. So if you want to find some you could set up an email alert through them. I was able to score 5 more and I did this about 3 or 4 times the past two weeks
