My great key cover purchase experience with BuyChina

Hey guys!
So recently I bought two sets of products from BuyChina - it was recommended to me via a Facebook user on the Logitech Gaming Facebook page.
Thus I thought, why the hell not - I'll do it via the credit card and hope for the best + all together the items came to less than £17, shipped to me

Here's what I bought:

http://www.buychina.com/items/kay-cool-machine-keyboards-keycaps-pbt-pom-37-key-white-black-gray-pastel-12-color-rainbow-rgby-wstttrskklg

I'm sure most of you wouldn't be interested in the keycaps, but the key covers, I've seen very little about online - so thought to make a thread and post my results!
You'll be able to tell from the pictures below that the colours aren't "vivid" - this is two fold -> could be the Logitech G710+ lights not being as bright as others (I have no idea, just an idea) or it could be the plastic covers are a little too thick. I honestly don't know and to be quite honest, don't really care biggrin.gif!

I should also mention my great transaction with BuyChina:
Ordered on the: 15th, posted on the 21st (had a trouble one one of the items in my order so that took 2 extra days to sort out) and then received the 28th!
Super happy with the fast turn-over - oh and customer service was really good (and they spoke good english!)

Anyway, without any further talk, here's the results in pictures - there's a LOT of pics!

Hope this helps!

To be completely honest, my first reaction to seeing this on YouTube was "What is this idiot doing with the keyboard?". I also own the G710+ and, with it being an awesome piece of equipment and all, I thought it was a shame to ruin it. But boy, was I wrong. This turned out alright after all! Maybe a little too colorful for my taste, but it's a really nice touch and certainly looks way cooler than the stock white lighting. So yeah, I'm taking my initial comment back and I'm giving you a thumbs up. Or rep. Whatever. thumb.gif

Love your videos by the way man. It's nice knowing that not all people my age (I guess we're about the same age...Early twenties?) are Facebook kids who can't tell the difference between a high-end desktop and a cheapo Android tablet.

hahaha thanks bro! smile.gif
And yeah at first I was also hesitant, but I wiped on the colours then fell in love with it immediately!
I absolutely love the white, but a little colour in my life is always welcome smile.gif

Thought to update you guys on an issue I've uncovered with the lights:
The ENTER button's light was coming off almost every other day. So I've had to remove the shade completely.

It certainly looks pretty awesome, I'm not a huge fan of the incredibly bright backlighting and I think vivid lighting looks better myself but that's just my opinion and I think you've done a great job.

Thank you - although it wasn't anything special to do - was just a matter of being patient and putting all the keys covers on smile.gif
