Looking for a card.. any suggestions?

I want something black(ish)/metalic.
Something with a touch of red detailing is even better.
I also want the logo to glow in a white LED or at least be written in white/silver.

I know looks is the absolute wrong way to go about buying a GPU but what can I say I want a good looking system smile.gif

What about something like this?

Mostly black but has some red trimmings as well. Would match your mobo well too! =)
Happy hunting!

Yea I put that in my short-list but my buddy told me MSI is hit-or-miss with their GPUs (as with their mobos)

Rep'd you for the help anyway smile.gif

What kind of price range are you looking to stay within? If your looking for metallic you can go for any of the NVidia 770/780/780Ti cards with the Titan cooler, The logo on the side lights up in green though, not white.

Otherwise something like the EVGA cards w/ ACX cooler would also be quite nice. Giving you the black with a little metallic accents. I have the 770 ACX myself and love the card.

Just get a strip of whatever-color LEDs and light up the box. Also, MSI has a much better track record with GPUs than its boards, they are safe.

Just get a stock 290/290x with the black pcb and put one of the metallic red zalman coolers on it(not on the supported list but fits) will give you about the best looking result imo... also great quiet cooling.

As for msi cards...never once had an issue..
msi boards... only one has fried on me(out of 4).. if you want to rag on anyone for horrible motherboards its gigabyte 4/5 have fried on me.

This is why I stick with Asus mobos. Their RMA service is horrible but I've never had to use it over the last 10+ PCs I've built for myself and family/friends.
