We know, but there are extremely low-quality Gold-rated units out there, and there are LOTS of extremely low-quality Bronze-rated PSUs out there. Of course, there are also some very solid Bronze-rated units as well.
So no. It's not good to just tell someone "Get a Gold-rated PSU", because then they run the risk of getting a crappy one and not know it. "Well, you said get a Gold-rated PSU! Why didn't you tell me that this one I picked is a junker?" "You didn't know? Then why are you giving out advice?" Yeah, you can be held responsible for any advice you give out. If someone buys something because of you, then you're responsible for that. It's just a natural law.
